Important Advice On Road Closures

Derbyshire County Council are anticipating a huge amount of interest in the flight of the Lancaster over the Dams on May 16th.

They’ve published a helpful guide to road closures and car parks, including a car park to be designated for disabled drivers only.

The roads are likely to be really busy, our advice would be to get there really early, and expect to be there a really long time. Take plenty of tea and cake and park somewhere safe for you and remember the roads are being kept clear for emergency vehicles.

We’d love to see your photos of the flight. It looks like being an incredible day for Derbyshire!
