Competition Time.

The Rotary Clubs of Derby and Nottingham are celebrating their centenary (100th birthday) this year and they have a Rotary Family Extravaganza event at Elvaston Castle on Saturday 16th June with free entry for all and lots of great family entertainment.

We have teamed up with Derbyshire Rocks and have a competition with some very exciting prizes which we will be announcing soon.

We would like you to paint rocks that celebrate the work that Rotary does locally and worldwide.

Competition 1

Take a photo of your Rotary inspired creation and post a photo on Derbyshire Rocks but tag @DerbyRotarySatellite so that we can gather all the entries (by all means explain what the picture represents). Photos of the best rocks will be displayed at our stand on the day. Entries accepted until midnight on Sunday 10th June. Winners will be announced at the event at 5pm.

Competition 2

Bring your rocks to the Derby Rotary Satellite stand in the Rotary Village area of the Family Extravaganza where they will be judged on the day. Entries must be handed in by 3pm on the day. Winners will be announced at the event at 5pm

There are three categories for both:

Under 5s
5 to 8 years
9 to 12 years

Competition 3

We will hide the three Rotary rocks pictured around Elvaston Castle, we will announce when they have been hidden on the event’s Facebook page (search Rotary Family Extravaganza) Find one and bring it to our stand at the event to win a prize.
