Greetings, we want to reach out to everyone who has made, or is waiting to make a booking with us, in the hope that we can offer some reassurance with regard to their Tiger Moth flight.
Unfortunately we have had to postpone all flights due to take place in April & May. We do not yet know about the rest of the year.
CAN I REBOOK?
We haven’t started rebooking yet. We are keeping a close eye on the situation. We very much hope to fly later this year. We will be in touch as soon as we can start booking people in again.
WILL MY VINTAGE FLYING VOUCHER STILL BE VALID?
We have extended our own vouchers, all current vouchers will now expire at the end of the 2021 Flying Season.
I PURCHASED MY VOUCHER FROM A THIRD PARTY – WHAT ABOUT ME?
We are receiving very good feedback from Groupon and Virgin, a brief summary of their latest update is detailed below, however we recommend you keep an eye on their website or Facebook Page, and check your emails for updates from them.
We have had a message from Groupon to say they’re extending Voucher Deadlines, according to their website this is extended to 29/9/20. Please check with them to reassure yourself that this applies to you.
If you are rebooking from 2019 and your Groupon voucher has already been redeemed then you are fine as there is no validity issue.
Virgin too are extending Vouchers, they appear to be doing this in batches, so if you have a Virgin Voucher please visit their website & follow their instructions.
I HAVE GOT A VOUCHER BUT I HAVENT BOOKED YET
Please hold off booking for now, if you are worried about Validity of your Voucher please see the notes above, they apply to you too.
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO START FLYING AGAIN?
At the moment we simply don’t know. We remain hopeful that we might be able to fly later this year, once we get the all clear we will begin rebooking people, prior to then we must follow Government Guidelines for your safety and that of the crew and everyone involved. At present Derby Airfield is closed to all visitors.
