The Late Great Haydon Baillie in one of his T33’s

Later on this aircraft was a Duxford, and I was lucky enough to meet this amazing gentleman pilot, and work for him for about a year. I then went on to work for his brother. He had 3 T33’s, a Sea Fury, a CF100, several Bolingbrook’s (Blenheim) and a Chipmunk in the same paint scheme as this T33. This was in the good old days when volunteers were encouraged to get very involved with the aircraft and pilots. Pilots actively mentored younger crew. We are trying to foster that kind of environment at Derby.
