Important Consultation – Oxford and Brize Norton.

It’s been described as “one of the most important articles that have been printed in the LAA mag”.

RAF Brize Norton and Oxford Airport are consulting on a number of proposed airspace changes which will significantly (by nearly 400%) increase the controlled airspace across the heart of England. If taken forward and approved by the CAA, these airspace changes will significantly increase risk to the majority who operate outside the proposed controlled airspace due to new and exacerbated choke points for traffic crossing, both north-south and east-west, as well as local users.

Therefore, it’s vital that in addition to cumulative responses from the LAA and the GA Alliance, as well as our fellow sport flying organisations such as the BMAA and BGA, we should all individually respond to these Consultations.

The closing date for responses is Thursday 5 April 2018, so please act now!

Please take a look at the attached article which contains information on how to respond and the key points which you might wish to use in framing your response. Thank you for taking the time to get involved, working together we CAN make a difference!
